My old battery for my droid2 wasn't holding more than a 8 hour charge with just texting and minimal phone use. So I ordered this to replace the original battery and lasts waaaaaay longer. I'm getting a full day charge (don't have exact since I charge it at night). The only downside is that the replacement battery cover will not fit with phone cases (I did read you can use seidos surface or active case without a battery cover and have no problems).

I am a heavy user of my Droid2, so the regular life battery would never last me an entire day. This battery has made all the difference for me. Yes, it makes the phone a tiny bit heavier, but well worth it to get the extended battery life.

It works, the battery life is longer and it fits. The cover that comes with it fits perfectly over. The phone is a bit heavy and heftier now but the battery life is longer. And now I have two batteries so if needed, I could even swap out.

Great if you're using square at an art/craft show or are going on a road trip and want to use it during the trip (gps etc).
